Dermaplaning the skin prior to skin pen exfoliates the skiin and removes vellous hair leaving your skin smooth and allows the skin pin to penetrate the skin better. When you combine the two, hyaluronic serum can be used during the skin pen treatment, you get a much better result.

The dermaplaning will exfoliate the skin, remove the vellous hair and then the microdermabrasion will help to even out skin tones, improve skin texture and brighten up complexion.

Yes, but it depends. If you have regular skin treatments, it can be done. We would have to discuss the kind of peel you wanted. For example, applying an acid peel after a dermabrasion to is a good treatment for acne scars.

Red dots after plasma pen treatment are nothing to fret over! They are a sign that the plasma pen is working, contacting the epidermis to produce collagen and elastin and treat the skin blemishes, they will go away, typically after the scabs fall off around a week post-treatment.

If the scabs do not naturally fall off on their own and last more than two weeks, please call me at (214) 697-1754.

They can last anywhere between 1-3 years, but if you do not take care of your skin, by following aftercare, then results will not last long. After that, progress from plasma pen treatment will be less noticeable. More sessions may be required.

A numbing cream is used after cleansing the face and prior to the treatment. You still might feel something in sensitive areas on the face, some clients say they feel nothing, others do experience mild stinging.

The use of sunscreen prevents premature aging, wrinkles, and best protects from ultraviolet rays, and skin cancers.

Car windshields can block about 96% of the ultraviolet rays from the sun, while the side windows, especially if you drive all the time, will only give you about 44%. That’s why most women have more and deeper wrinkles on the left side of their face—because of all the ultraviolet ray sun exposure from driving.

Mineral sunscreens are the best, they BLOCK UV light. Chemical sunscreens filter the light and sun damage can occur. Applying mineral based sunscreen in AM is best and then occasionally throughout the day. When you pick up sunscreen, check to confirm it has zinc oxide and titanium minerals, if you are prone to acne check to see if niacinamides are included.

Minimum SPF is 35, I like 45 and 50 SPF. I really like TIZO, it goes on so smoothly, you don’t even know its on and the tinted version, blends with most skin tones and has enough coverage so you don’t need foundation. It also doesn’t settle in the wrinkles, which is a plus.

First of all it is 100% mineral photoprotection that is versatile for use on all skin types and tones. It has titanium and zinc oxide which are very effective in protecting the skin from the sun.

I have tried many sun screen in my life and I highly recommend TIZO.

There is no paraben, gluten, fragrance dyes or phylates. It goes on softly and light.

Mineral sunscreens filter and reflect UVA and UVB rays away from the skin, whereas chemical sunscreen filters absorb those rays.
